Brush Painted the floor orange and glued the fire wall insulation to the fire wall. Of course, everything had to get cleaned again. Tangier orange is really safety orange, which I bought a quart from Ace Hardware. No one will see it once I put on sound dead material. You can see the difference... -

Stripping paint off instrument panel
I tried citristrip which was too aggressive, it took all the coatings off, pretty much a disaster. I’m considering to sand it smooth and repaint it chrome. IDK, that might be too much effort as well, maybe just buy one and then repaint chrome. -

Installed some better oem tail light lens that have been hanging out in a box for 40 years. -

Installed the rear wheel moldings. Cleaned up more old overspray blue paint, this time in the gas filler mounts. -
New paint gun
HF actually sells a higher end paint gun and disposable cup system which I purchased and intend to use for primers. I have a lower end Devilbiss which is okay but my best one is the Matco gun which has a lot of extra parts and a lot more versatility. And most importantly, lays down the materials... -

Sagging doors: where to start?
Carefully inspect the pins and brass bushings for wear, worn bushings typically fall out and you can lift up on the door bottom to see the pin moving around. What new tools have you got lately?
I have the Milwaukee version, much easier than the plug in craftsman version and much lighter than the gasoline version. All three put you at risk of hearing and eye loss so be sure to wear your PPE when using. -

Sprayed some leftover hammered silver on the tailgate hardware after an ospho treatment. Brought the fenders and tailgates into the house to finish curing. -

GM? Model? The seat placement in your picture looks nearly identical to the seat picture in the next post so not sure how you can improve on it. I would assume better foam in the newer seat. -

Honestly, I don’t really see the infatuation with the whole stock oem thing and the none bleed pricing.
