    Worked out 5-6 dents with different spoons, levers, rods, body dollies and hammers. The one in the back corner of the bed took some effort from the rear tail light. Mostly worked on passenger side, welding some metal next.

    Hoes or Holes

    PO(s) made Swiss cheese in the box, which I plan to weld up. I get the 10 holes on the top rails of the box but I don’t get the the holes in the front corners. Ideas? I don’t want to fill the holes if they might serve a purpose down the road.

    C vs K 8 bolt rims

    Will a C rim fit on K model truck, not sure if the center hole diameter is different between 2 and 4 wheel drive? I’m considering buying four steel rims which I can run the dog dish caps.

    Firewall Plastic Shroud

    What is the purpose of the firewall plastic shroud? My k20 is the only time I’ve ever seen one. I’m gonna work on the AC evaporator but looks like I have to remove this first and it goes along the entire firewall with multiple parts to remove.

    So I got some junk yard gauges yesterday which the face plates are a little dirty so I was wondering if I can clean them up without ruining or dulling the painted print? I recall trying this on my chevelle gauges and the paint smeared.

    No complaints, just educated today why these cars are so hammered. Two of the three trucks had auto tilt columns. Every one of them the ignitions were trashed, lock mechanism laying on the floor. They haven’t been in the yard more than a day.
