    just a follow up to this issue, I relocated some grounds and moved one directly under the mounting screw of the new motor assembly and it worked! wipers park like they should and now I'm going around and replacing/adding grounds between firewall to frame to engine. Amazing what good grounds...

    Should the windshield wipers park on a 1974?

    experiencing a similar problem in my 81 k10. replaced the motor/washer assembly because the original would not "park" the wipers but rather stop them wherever they are when the wipers are switched off. Same problem with the new motor assembly. Is there an external module or contact switch?
