What have you done to your square lately??
I said the film was on the bezel, I meant to say the aluminum front bezel "trim". I cleaned the (black) bezel, then sprayed it semi-gloss Rustoleum then clear. I used a "Molotow Liquid Chrome" pen to carefully repaint the silver rings around the gauges and "Lights" letters. -

What's the going price on a good 305 engine these days ?
Good info folks. I appreciate the feedback. I know it's not the "desirable" engine, but for what they were intended, they did pretty good. During that period of time, everyone was anal about pollution so they loaded up the engines with as much crap as possible. Gonna check with my sprint car...- PeteJr

Replacing my old 305 (1983 GMC) Anyone know about what I can get for it as a good running engine? The 305 sprint car class is pretty popular now around here.- PeteJr

Saw this, but have not checked it out. Page 225 lists an '83 - '84 grille........... https://www.certifit.com/images/catalogs/catalog.pdf Not familiar with Certifit parts, but they have a warehouse in Memphis. A buddy bought a rear bumper there and it looks good to me.- PeteJr

Importance of charcoal (Evap) canister
Sooooooo ....... If I do the above recommendation, can I use a 2 port sending unit instead of a 3 port one like my OEM set-up? I'm fixin' to buy a SU for my new gas tank and if I don't need the canister and extra port, why buy it. Can I just use the 2 port version?- PeteJr
