    Where do I buy new interior kit?

    Odd question: were the side headliner trims always metal? Mine never originally had them, but I bagged a nice pair at the yard and they were metal. Everything else was LMC and looks / sizes up well. I have heard the sills were either plastic or metal......dunno. Thx.

    I would look into the old campers with the van front ends - they have smaller units than the huge CDL-required rigs. My uncle had one and it would freeze meat if you wanted it too. I bet there are MANY types and sizes in that club to choose from. You're definitely in custom-mod territory.

    I was looking at the threaded ends too.....aftermarkets are usually squared off and the OE's are tapered.

    FOUR charcoal canisters? Never saw more than one on anything. Can you blow air through the vent hose to make sure it doesn't have a blockage upstream like a spiders nest, etc?

    I would use an insulated wire - never saw a strap used unless it was from a wiper motor or block to the chassis.

    I've got the Hella e-code lamps to install - they use the H4 and H1 bulbs. Have heard of some using HIDs or LEDs in them, but no idea how well they work. Cibie was the very best for pattern and light, but they are long gone now.

    I love these older Z's. Curious: when you swap a BB into one, do you have to change the front suspension at all for the extra weight? Or is it close enough?

    I had an issue like this on a car I was flipping years ago - turned out to be a sticking relay.
