Finished the other drum. Replaced parts and painted. Bearing were good so just did inside seal like the other side. Draining diff today, then proportioning valve and hopefully bleed brakes so girl can drive.
I have a decent 3 ton jack from an estate auction. It lifted my Dad but not a truck. I have a new seal kit on the bench, haven't gotten to it. Borrowed the neighbors lol.
I'd follow the read from @CountKrunk.
We know you have two DVC subs, but what ohms? Seems like you're gonna want amp bridged mono and run subs in parallel if at 2ohms each. Don't just pick a diagram...
I used a transmission jack, you could do like ricko1966 said though. I left my hoses long enough from the tank on the ground and coiled when it went up.

This is a visual. For me...less is more. If you want something musical, like a 4 Ohm set up. 1 ohm you are just gonna get you and your car rattled, especially the car 3 places from you. So all about what you're trying to accomplish.
I looked at our truck and am not sure what the hole's look like, but you can get various sizes of aluminum plug buttons at the hardware store. Put some pooky around it if you need to keep water out. But for you, welding may be better choice.
I thought this was humorous. I didn't panic (mostly). For those who have a garage or shop NOT full of stuff. Pics are in order of, 1) final result 2) Issue, you see it? 3) plan 4) Yay! Had to giggle internet to figure out how to remove drawer. Two screws, sh!t in the way...drill with 90°...
Well nothing cool. I spent 3 hours going to two different napa's and two trips to autozone yesterday to get everything I need to finish assembling a wheel today.
Scored spindle nut socket for $11 on closeout table though.
Is this right? Am I missing a spindle flat washer, 2nd spindle nut; lock washer? Would seem dangerous!
Going through y'alls threads on assembly.
Pics show how it was, one spindle nut, key, and clip...feedback?!
It's also worth noting, that anything you post is searchable via the net. I've done searches for topics and specific things to see it bring me here as an option, and including my own posts. Not certain if relevant.
Did final break-in. Truck ran great. Will drain and fix some leaks (see Betty Blue build page). Aluminum coolant fittings and oil coolant hose. Arugh
Idled in park at 740ish. Forgot to ck in gear.
We'll mess with cking base timing and exhaust lean code after a little leak fixing.
