Electric fuel pump
It doesnt have a choke, I have not idea about setting a carb, have a buddy that did it with the vaccum gauge. Down the road, I want to get the sniper II. I will set about seeing if any old timers around my area can help with that.- Asgeir

I dont know, havent drop the tanks. I know the tank selector doesnt work and I will be working my way back. I want to say yes, once I drop the trans to replace it with the new one, I will look and see if the line is at least running back there.- Asgeir

Electric fuel pump
Hello, Im thinking switching to a electric fuel pump to help stop vapor lock after the engine runs. Currently have a mechanical three port one and once the engine gets warmed up and you shut if off to like get gas, I have to crank, crank, crank to get it started. Mystery hole on fenders
Same here, My 84 C10 has both clips and adhesive on the chrome trim. Someday I will get around to removing the trim and painting the truck lol, looks bad with trim missing.- Asgeir

Why doesn't anyone use the Chevy "Connect & Cruise" packages?

350 or LS
My 350 was tired and worn out, took it out and had the shop bore it and made a 383 stroker. I love the way carb engines sound at idle. I did think about doing a LS swap, but making a 383 came out way cheaper then doing a LS swap and way easier. But honestly its your truck, do what you want.- Asgeir

TH 400 needed
I know for the price they quoted me, I can get on speedway and order a new rebuilt transmission thats better then stock, just have to get a torque converter. I just dont have the $2500 for either lol. Dropped all on building that 383. But I agree, shop rates are stupid high.- Asgeir

TH 400 needed
Well finally got the truck running with my 383 stroker I built and the 700R4 trans died on me. Lost 3rd and 4th gear. Trans shop quoted over $2,600 to rebuild which I thought is stupid. So I want to replace it with a TH400, does anybody in Oklahoma have one they want to part with?- Asgeir

My thinking is if you love the car, then do it, but if you going to replace it like in a year or two after doing the work, then it wouldnt be worth it.
