Nope, the bearing is just raising hell and making a lot of noise when the belt tension is high. I cannot see the pulley getting out of alignment but the noise is surely there. -

Well, first of all how are you going to get fuel to the carburetor? The electric pumps in the tank(s) are part of the TBI system. Your engine block most likely does not have a place to install the old mechanical fuel pump, the one in my '87 sure doesn't. Second, I am betting your nephew does... -

Trying to identify this color of blue
I don't know what name GM gave to the blue of the last few years of the square body but I can tell you two things. 1. It is slightly lighter than that pic makes it look. 2. It is a solid color, no metallic or metalflake.- Redfish

Drove it around for over 2 hours last night looking at Christmas lights. Was kind of funny seeing some of the folks in some of the high class subdivisions watching The Old Truck idle past. Got a lot of waves and thumbs up from folks. My water pump must have been bad for a very long time... -

It is YOUR Truck and it is YOUR bumper. Seems to me you can do whatever you like! That front vertical plate isn't supporting the winch, it only holds the fairlead. There can be significant pressure on the fairlead if you have any side loading or the line is pointing up or down so that front...- Redfish

Center Cap Dimensions
You can call it 7 inches across the base. It's probably 7 and 1/64. I happened to have a set not mounted so I was able to take a quick measurement. Are you going to drill holes in your new wheels for the bolts? I know the bolts are semi-self tapping.- Redfish
