    Cold startup, pressure is 18-20. As the engine warms up the pressure drops,, at 160 degrees the pressure is 10-12. If I drop it in gear pressure drops to zero.     I find it hard to believe the pushrods are clogged, when I rev it a little bit the oil hits the fenderwell. The oil was changed just before I got the new gauges because I wanted it ready to go when the new oil, (Valvoline 10-30,, Wix filter). I'll get some diesel fuel and run it through the engine

    Latest thinking on replacement gauges

    I bought these on ebay, they are Chinese but not bad looking. 7 colors are switchable so if you get tired of the color just change it. Drawbacks,,,, the metric ranges are more predominant than sae., the lens are real glass so don't drop one it will shatter. Don't ask, just take my word for it.

    I logged on hoping to find a decent pair of used door panels but now that I've seen this I may quit looking. I was trying to make mine look better today but the po had used regular paint on them and by the time I got the paint off the surface looked terrible. Thanks for posting this.

    Thanks, I have mine done now and I cut 2 coils also. I have not driven it yet because it is pretty much all tore apart and has no exhaust at this time. I just did the rear flip and no shackles, everything else is factory and that may have to be changed but for now this is how it looks

    Thanks to all who replied, I know one coil will not get it down where I would like to have it and I am very aware of what cutting the spring will do to the control arm angles. So I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and get spindles. I would ask Santa for them but he isn't talking to me.

    I have been reading threads about lowering and I see that everybody says to only cut one coil. I's like to know why only one? Will there be problems with cutting 2? I know it will make the ride stiffer but is there any other reasons?
