So the 468 turned out to be a bit much for the old turbo 400! split the case around the output shaft. so time for a new trans and gonna rebuild the tcase while I got it out! -

I'm for the beater here in Illinois I dont want to drive my nice sh*t in the salt! So I have my 87 bbc 7mpg,01mutang gt 20mpg and 82 honda cm450e 50mpg I bounce around in the spring summer, fall and winter 97s10 28mpg I put them all on the wife's 08 tahoe ltz plan and they cost me 5$ a piece for...- 87scotty

Yea even if the box was messed up it shouldnt pull its have slop but a pull is an alignment issue or tire pressure/wear- 87scotty

My first round was 6.25 with the 454 th400 208 and 4.10s but the Speedo is wrong due to the 36s and hadn't tinkered with the carb yet I can tell I'm doing better now Havnt paid attention though will fill a tank and find out I don't really run over 55-60 though I drive like an old man or a 16yr...- 87scotty

Oh and square front driveshaft that was in a pile with a rear and another front so I ran up to 20$ and said nope I'm good! then told the guy that got it I only wanted the front shaft he said he only wanted the rear so he gave it to me we coulda both got what we wanted for a dollar nobody else... -

Went to a sale this am got 2 l.p. tanks 2$ 2 old plastic fuel tanks with the vents and non safety nozzles 2$ box of roofing nails for gun and funnels some other random crap1$ tow straps 22$ and 22000lbs lifting straps that ill use for vehicle recovery 30$
