Just pick this drill up, hopefully I'll be able to get it in that tight spot against the firewall. I also pick up a transfer punch set, and an automatic center punch. I'm headed over to harbor freight now, they got a pneumatic angle drill for $35, I'm gonna get the ez outs from somewhere else though, gonna need a quality set. Don't want to take a chance with a cheapo set breaking off in the bolt.- VAL

I've tossed around the idea of just going to a junker and getting some used manifolds, but I'm really not wanting to struggle with the warping, to getting them back on. I have headers on my 86 with air injection tubes and smog pump, and it passes emissions just fine. I don't see why it would be...- VAL

Yup, got to give you props on that! I got the passenger side off without breaking any bolts. I loosened the driver side bolts, but it looks like I'm going to have to remove the ps pump to get the fist two out.- VAL

I was looking at the exhaust manifolds, and I don't see any gaskets at all, on either side. Driver side manifold has a missing or broken bolt. I stuck a screwdriver in there, and I think it broke off in the head. Wtf! If it is, I'm guessing it's gonna be a PITA!!! getting it out.- VAL

It came alive! After changing out the starter, draining the tank and filling with new gas, blowing out the gas lines, new spark plugs, fuel filter and battery, This bitch started up after two turns of the engine, and starts up immediately every time. Yup, I did that when I got back from testing it at the parts store, reinstalled it, it turned the engine like a 1/4 turn and then click, click, click. Then I crawled under and jumped it with a piece of 12awg electrical wire, and click, click , click.- VAL

The battery is brand new, fully charged, and I've manually turned the engine twice, so I know for a fact that this bitch ain't seized. When I took the starter to the parts store, they tested it 3 times, and it passed 3 times. I was watching them do it, it was zero load test. they just hooked it up to 12v power, and a remote switch. the solenoid would engage, push the gear up, and spin. Hell, I did that at home with jumper...- VAL

Yeah, I checked the voltage at the battery, at the starter, and the hot ignition wire, 12.5 volts, and all the grounds. I'm thinking it's still is the starter or solenoid that is working, but too weak to turn the engine over. I just don't want to drop $130 on a new starter and find out its...- VAL
