    I hated my Detroit locker so bad I gave it away and went to an open carrier until I can afford an ARB. I effed around and found out. Disclaimer: I only hated it the 100% of the time I was on pavement. Off road, it was decent. Would have been great if I had an auto trans. With manuals, not so much.

    The spacing should depend on the rifle/shotguns you're putting in it. Usually they rest upside down so one side would fit in the curve behind the trigger. The other wouldn't matter as much as its relatively flat along the top of the barrel/stock. It gets complicated when you throw AR's in there...

    I don't know because I'm not one to crank the system with the truck not running. It sounds better at 14.2 volts than at 12 anyway.
