Pertaining to the passenger floor board, Check for leaks around the vent in the kick panel. Thats where I found my leak. Just have to take it out and clean out any debris and reseal with a good caulk.
That should be the wire that hooks to to your seatbelt to send a warning buzz that your seat belt isn't buckled. Also should have a dash warning light that says seatbelt. Of couse with it not being connected you won't hear the buzz but you should still see the seatbelt light.
Should swap with out problems. Unfamiliar with a difference between the two years, but I do know that '84 and up had the wiper switch included in the turn signal arm whereas the wiper switch on '83 and down was on the dash. that's the only difference I know of.
Do you happen to have a pic of a square column from an 84 up? I only ask because of the column wiper switch might make a difference from the 83 and down version.
Hello, I tried to peruse the interchangable steering columns sticky but really wasn't making any headway with it. Does anybody know if a steering column from a GMT 400 3500 manual shift w/ tilt cross over to an 84 K2500? Thanks
I'm not quite understanding the column interchange list that you posted Retro, Will the steering column from a early 90's 3500 manual shift interchange into my 84 K2500 manual shift? Thank you.
Hello, not meaning to hijack a thread but 4WDKC, you sold your truck before you moved right? Illinois if I remember right. I'm curious what you got for it if you don't mind my asking? I'm from central Missouri and am looking in to selling my 86 K10 sometime this year and seeing as we are both...
Have a question (not sure it's in the right thread) I'm needing to change out a fan speed switch on my A/C, heater assembly but can't get the knobs to come off. Other than just pulling, with no result? Anybody here with a trick for that? Thanks
