Superduty Dana 60 into 86 2wd squarebody chevy
If you don't need the strength of the D60, you can use a 79-79 ford D44. They're also not common but sometimes it's worth putting the work into finding the right axle when it bolts in easily. Did you measure how much it's off when it's parked somewhere level? Measure the body line over the tires for the most useful measurement. Not the fender lip but the body crease. Identifying GM Transfer Cases: Show us in pictures what you have with measurments and Adapters.
We (Offroad Design) work on putting stuff on a 4L80 daily. 32 spline NP208 bolts right on to a 4wd 4L80. No mods required. Figure 8 NP 205 requires an adapter housing (4" front to back) and a 32 spline input in the 205. 32 spline NP241 will bolt right on a 4wd 4L80 using the factory adapter...- Blazerbiker
