    Check your battery post and cables for corrosion. I have seen them where they would run a starter just fine but not produce enough to fire the plugs

    Please check your grounds as well including the battery posts. Bad ones can cause those symptoms

    Might put some Kroil on the edge of the hose and let it penetrate between the hose and the neck. Same for any clamp on the hose as well

    My 84 4 wd th350 trans, 3.08 gears, Q jet aspirated 350 gets right on 10 mpg. 2.25 dual exhaust dual plane weiand intake. So a 4L60 or 700r4 would not improve either driveability or fuel economy? 3:73 gears will?

    Thanks for the welcome and reply. I do have a floor type transmission jack with a wide pad for support. Baffles and ethanol hoses are great ideas.

    Am needing to either refurbish my current tanks or acquire new ones. 1984 GMC K1500 short bed 4wd, 16 gallon tanks. Since the leak in the left tank is not severe, maybe a gallon over a couple months, would you refurbish or purchase new? For new, any one purchase parts from Summit? Thoughts...
