    Do radiator repair shops pressure test radiators after a repair? I would think a pressure test for 10 minutes or so at maybe 125% of design pressure would reveal bad spots and help with the “Fix or Scrap” decision.

    I bought mine (driver side) from Oreilly as I worked there after I retired and the employee discount made it a no brainer. It was all stainless, fit fine and has held up well over the past 2 years.

    That was another point in the story: I paid around $27-28K for mine new from the dealer. 26 years and 400k miles later I could sell it for that price or pretty close. 26 years.......now I feel old.

    Out of the blue this story pops up in my news feed. They consider the Cummins 12-valve paired with the HD manual transmission to be a “Holy Grail” of trucks. Pushing 400k with mine so certainly can’t argue with them.

    My truck has the Thermac system, however it does not use any vacuum. Instead per the manual it utilizes a “self contained wax pellet actuated assembly”. Have no idea if it works at all but it does start and drive fine in cold weather.

    87 R1500 Quad Headlight Question

    I am on a quest to figure this out. I had ordered a new headlight switch with knob and rod (LMC P/N 30-2673) but the rod was shorter than the one I removed and it would not work. Makes me think the switch is incorrect.
