    i don't know why more of you guys aren't running 400 engines from the 70's. they are cheap, plentiful, produce lots of torque and are very reliable. put a mild cam in it, vortec heads, an air gap, and the carb of your choice. all for less than 3k. then gear it down to match the newfound torque...
