Switching AC to R134

I ordered my truck with heavy duty springs, now 42 years later l would appreciate a softer ride as well. We have a local spring shop close by. I was told to leave the fronts alone being they have 42 years under a V8 and replacement springs would not be any softer. For the rears he recommended...- Finkaire

GM re-pop with GM logo on the box from LMC, perfect! In addition, there are different shades of the gray. Headlight bezels from LMC and grill matched perfectly the darker gray the truck came with. -

Taking a Vote or opinions.
Can’t go wrong with stock, especially if the rest of the truck is. Believe me its hard to resist the temptation, but once you start, where do you stop? -

A/C Compressor, again.
Don’t know of any shop, but the oil should have been replaced with Ester oil. PAG is a corrosive and will take out O-rings as well as evaporators in older R-12 systems. I believe it is the shop’s bad IMHO- Finkaire

I have been using Wheelskins forever. They take a little while and a little patience to lace up, but they are extremely nice and last for years! Also one on the El Camino that hides a couple cracks. -

defrost not working
BTW, A/C engages in the defrost mode. It dehumidifies -
Sliding rear window gasket?
I looked like hell for a gasket for the OE slider, finally wound up with an aftermarket slider. Also the front gasket with the trim form LMC didn’t fit. Life goes on- Finkaire

Tire size question. (Street tires on 2WD).
Hi, I am running 275/60/15’s all around. I saw this moderately lowered truck with what I believe are 265/75/15’s They appear to fill the wheelwells and kinda in my opinion, look proper. Suburban rear AC
A large endeavor, the orifice tube will be located in the liquid line and not in the condenser BTW. Best of luck, make sure to get everything. Would be best to get from a donor that possibly still has a charge rather than something sitting on a shelf that might be missing parts. -
