This is my truck a few years ago when it was being sold by Garage Kept Motors. Top was black from the factory (Z59). Don’t know about that faux woodgrain stuff but it was removed and those areas painted white. Originally it was a solid color (ZY1) in Santa Fe Tan (60L) -

Last weekend I had the Blazer in town picking up some feed and when I went to load it up there was a couple checking it out. We got to talking and they have a 63 Chevy truck being painted by a man who, I found out later, does a lot of paint and body work for some of the nicer cars in the area... -
Nobody warned me about the MPGs on these square bodies!
75 Blazer with 454, TH350, NP203 full time 4WD and 3.73 gears, gets less than 10 I’m sure. Haven’t calculated it but as someone else mentioned the “Smiles per mile” is way up there. My other ride is a Saturn V rocket. What a blast, no pun intended. It gets less than 6 inches per gallon, first...- WFarm

Replaced the distributor cap and rotor. As usual when working on these trucks there was several times I wished it was a Ford with the distributor up front! I ended up taking the carb off to give me a little more access, covering the manifold ports to keep anything I might drop from getting in... -

Installed an amplified 12 volt hide-away antenna to help my reception. Made a huge improvement! Also replaced the spark plugs with a new set of AC Delco R45TS plugs. Runs much smoother now, as #1 was getting fouled. The others looked OK. -
