Exactly! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, lol. But I was wondering if there was any long term detrimental effects. A reduction in performance is something I can live with.- WFarm

I pulled the valve covers on the 454 and recorded the casting numbers on the heads. As I posted elsewhere recently, the engine is a 1971 LS5 365 hp originally in a Chevelle. The vintage Weiand intake manifold (PN WCPSQ) is for the large, rectangular port heads. My heads are oval port (casting...- WFarm

Replaced the grille, BowTie and 454 emblems. Grill was broken in a couple of places. New grille fit fine but was a bit disappointed that the three horizontal bars were simply argent versus chromed. Still it looks better than the broken one. -
Blazer rear seat arm rests
So I went ahead and ordered a pair of rear seat arm rests for 69-72 Blazers and they seem to be perfect matches for my 75, unless my 75 rear seat has been replaced with an earlier version which I doubt. -

Wired an indicator light into the electric fan circuit to show me when the radiator fans were energized. Ended up making a mounting bracket out of a left over piece of aluminum angle and painting to match. The light appears much brighter in the photo than it really is. Did something similar... -
LMC Dash Pad Supplier

Yes it was me. I removed all the under dash components and eliminated the “T” and steel brake line that ran from the master cylinder to the under dash unit. But the brake controller was just too cool once cleaned up so I put that back in.:D
