Haggerty Snapress Clutch Spring Compressor
Not to bring threads back from the past, but just saw this one... Very nice... Gives me a better idea of what I'd be getting myself into if I try to make something similar. If I could find one cheap, I wouldn't mind purchasing it. -

Looks like people have been busy... I finally got the truck inspected and aligned last weekend. Sure drives a hell of a lot better with all new steering linkages and all rebuilt hydraulic components. The Hydroboost takes a little getting used to, but is nice. :) -

Adjusted my brake light switch after getting the hydroboost system in last weekend and the system bled. Ended up rebuilding the hydrobooster, p/s pump, and the gearbox. After which I decided since everything was apart, to go and replace all the steering linkages. She should be a happy truck... -

Looking good there... Glad you were able to figure out what was your issue. Next time you have to deal with the o-rings on the injectors, it helps to give them a thin coat of lube. ;) -

I took the dog out for a spin in the truck and then finally started working on the hydroboost swap... Before: After: Still have to run the hoses and what not, but it's getting there. Hope to get a write-up out soon after I get it finished. -

Tail Light issue
Nope... The bed grounds directly to the frame. If the blocks aren't conductive, that would be your issue. I know from experience. :anitoof:- SlickGTP

Make sure all the grounds are good too. I had issues until I realized that I had the bed insulated from the frame at the time I was testing stuff out. The taillights ground through the bed to the frame.- SlickGTP

Interesting... This was my first teardown of one. Hopefully I got it back together correctly and I can get it in the truck soon. I think I have all the necessary pieces. -

Finally got my hydro booster rebuilt... This was the mess I found when I popped it open... I'll have more pictures later, but hopefully it'll go in the truck this weekend or next. -

Rotors weird
If I remember correctly... The grooves are to help vent any gas build up from the pads heating up under braking. Learned about that when I cooked one of my rotors when a line failed me and locked the caliper in the applied position causing me to replace it. -

Haven't done much of anything lately, but I'm working on getting a tilt column w/jeep intermediate shaft mod and hydro boost system ready for installation. I'll have pics and a write up eventually, time has gotten away from me and not having a proper workbench is getting to me. Must get bigger... -

I drove the truck in to work today... A chance to stretch it's legs and get some exercise. Also working on getting the hydroboost system from Pops in working order to install. Need to hit up a junk yard and see if I can find a few misc parts. Really contemplating buying a new seal kit for... -

Vacuum to Hydro...Can someone write guide?
I'll be doing the swap here sooner or later... When I do it, I was planning on doing a write-up. Have all the parts, just have to clean it all up and make it look pretty before I get to it. -

That's a good question... I'll look at my non-tilt column when I make the switch to the tilt I'm working on now. Might be awhile though...
