    Might check market place for a used flux core machine. Not as good as a gas setup but it will get the job done. That's what I used on the first Camaro I did. Mostly floors and some lower quarters but it worked and I picked up the used welder for cheap.

    Decent mig setup about 500 if you can swing it. I would think mostly spot welds to fill which are easy enough. Never done a roof panel though. Would you have need of a welder for other things?

    I know i can't make it perfect but I believe I can make it better. Hitting it with some Sunmight 1000 today on the ROS. Dry. Just getting started so this might take a minute. 1500 and 3k to come after.

    I dont know if it is flatter but I use one from a second gen Camaro on both my squares. They are a little smaller in diameter and seem very comfortable to me. I did try an aftermarket one but it was just too small for the truck. It does work well in my Camaro though.

I cam meter from that plug to another ground and read voltage but not to the ground in the plug. Which makes sense as I know I saw them work before when I first started tearing the...
