    A small allen wrench works well for tapping the roll pin out on the latches if your not moving the window from the door. Get it out enough to get a small pair of needle nose vice grips on it then tap on that. That's how I did mine.

    Finally got the latches from Amazon. The snow delayed them a bit. They seem to work fine. More parts in the bag than you need or can fit in the glass. Look nice. Made in Taiwan. Better that what I had for sure. We'll see if they last.

    Added some Kilmat behind the seat and in the doors to help with the sound. Probably going to get some carpet for this one and do the floor too. Also replaced the vent window latches.

It takes 12V dc to power the coil that closes the contacts on the relay. 12+dc is on one contact and the other side goes to the horns. 12v+ is also already present at the coil.     The horn button completes the ground to the relay. Not the 12V+. Check for continuity rather than voltage coming back from your button.

    I also added some cheap weather strips to the vent windows on the red truck. It helped the wind noise a lot. I need to redo it when it is warmer but just needed to see if it worked. I need to replace the latches. I think that will help too.

    One of the main reasons I asked about this is because I already replaced the window channel seal on the red truck. Didn’t want to take a chance of screwing that up taking it back out. It may make a difference though if I have a two piece vent window seal. I’ll have to investigate that.
