    Leaf Spring Bushings

Well it sounds like black is the way to go. Seems they are cheaper than the oe ones anyway in some places. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

    Leaf Spring Bushings

In my endless search for how to fix my truck I have run upon a situation that I would like some opinions on. I initially planned to replace all my old worn out rubber bushings with new poly ones from the energy master kit. I have since thought maybe this isn't the right plan and here is why. I...

    Patch panel welding

I use a Hobart handler 140. It does the job but I am no pro. I can tell it's much better than a flux core welder though.

    Upgrading Your Blower Motor

That is a pretty good write up. If we are missing pictures though it may get even better once those are fixed!

Yeah one of mine has the glass broken in it. With how poorly the doors close, once you slam the door you can't see anything out of them either. You can see more with them though. I had a 78 k10 that had the little ones, they looked nice but you don't see much behind you.

Not sure if I will use them or switch to the smaller ones. I like the tow mirrors on my duramax so the extra real estate is nice and keeping them saves me from filling holes in the door. I also think they look kinda goofy on there though. I will keep you in mind though.

Anyway, I started a build thread http://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/my-78-silverado.20762/ If you would like to hear the long winded tale of where it is now and how it got there. :) It may take some time to write but hopefully you will find it enjoyable.

Just yesterday I had almost convinced myself to do this. I think that will be what I do now. Thanks for the tip. I had started this project with the plan to make sure it was safe and drivable then make upgrades after. So I wanted to replace rubber brake lines, pads, things that were likely to...

I have an 03 Sierra with the Dmax. I like it a lot. I hope the swap works out well. With your budget mentioned earlier I don't see why you can't have a sweet ride when you are done.

    3" drop springs

I am considering the flip kit because I don't want to Any issues with the original wheels with that spindle?

    Rounded off exhaust manifold bolts

Do these actually work? I got a set of the opposites of these, the ones that you drill a hole and run them in... The ones you use when you break the bolt off. They absolutely suck.

That trailer was way overkill but I only have that monster and a 5x10 for my mower. At least with the big trailer I could cheat and use the winch on my jeep to load it.

If I can drum up the money for a clear coat I might. More than likely it will just look like this for a while. I intended to make it a driver first and start adding stuff but now it's torn apart I keep thinking, "I should do this while I have that apart", and now it's been in pieces for a year. Haha

Haha, I would need a panorama view of my whole garage to get it now. Let's see if I can get one showing where I started from.

Hey, stumbled across this forum in the endless search and information on lowering c-10s. I have a 78 model that I am working on slowly as I find enough money to buy a piece here and there. I will probably start a build thread and try to catch everyone up. Anyway, I guess if you want to know...

    3" drop springs

I have been searching all over for the best way to drop my truck and have found the endless possibilities a bit of a chore to wade through. I am thinking about using Western Chassis for the stuff to lower my truck but they have a couple options I am considering. This drop uses 3" drop coils...
