Here's a great "I know what I have" ad. Granted, there is some value. But........ (I copied the pictures over from the ad for those of you that can't access Facebook) https://www.facebook.com/share/17DZVVsRpB/

    16x9.5 Early C4 Corvette Wheels

Thanks. Yeah, they probably are worth more than that, especially with the center caps. I got them a few weeks back and I thought I would pass them on to someone who can use them. I hate to see them just sitting around collecting dust.

Latest Lost Cause Project: 1979 Z28

One of the things I like most about this car as a project is the availability of parts. Things can still be found at local parts stores. Which, I find amazing for a 45+ year old vehicle. Broken speedometer cable and they had one on the shelf at Autozone. Universal, but it still will work.

Latest Lost Cause Project: 1979 Z28

Dropping this picture over in this thread. Replacement block for to rebuild the original engine from this car with. Basic 010 4 bolt block. Seems decent at first glance.

Are all replacement brake hard lines equal?

I used The Stop Shop out of Ohio on my Z28 build. Very happy with the quality of their stainless lines. https://www.thestopshop.com/

Has anyone ever built a 377 Small Block?

He will not come out and say it directly, but I've suspected all along that is likely exactly why he will not do anything with it.

Has anyone ever built a 377 Small Block?

That's the area I'm talking about. Simply not worth the time, money and effort to do a new coil, have the block decked, and still have a block with a coil in that spot. I'm sure it can be reused by someone, but the machine shop I use will not touch it and it's cheaper for me just to start with...

I have an LS sitting here too that needs to find a home in to something...

Has anyone ever built a 377 Small Block?

Well, looks like it's possibly going to be a 350 block based build after all. This 010 block followed me home today. Looked decent for the price and I'll clean it up and see what I have to work with.

Has anyone ever built a 377 Small Block?

Me too. Oh well, it opens up the possibilities. I'm probably going to strip this one of everything usable and scrap it or put it up for sale really cheap in case someone wants to mess with it.

Has anyone ever built a 377 Small Block?

Machine shop quoted $350 to do the heads for me. That includes some welding for a deep score in the one head, checked, tested, cleaned and milled as necessary. He does not recommend attempting to repair that block however.

I hope that you are right. He told me to bring a bunch of pictures of the damage area around cylinder #8.

Heads off and ready for the machine shop. This was the engine that was in my Camaro when I bought it last spring.
