Year old thread, but things that show up on a search get read. Accordingly, clarifications and corrections are important. I am not familiar with AC systems, but I suspect they are the same as non-AC systems of this year, which only use one fuse feeding to the low speed position on the control... -

The control on this web page is what I installed. It is, exactly, like the one that was in my 78, but this one has four switch positions. Fuel gauge reads past full
Indication is, our gauges run 0 ohms at empty and 90 full. That yours likely has an issue aside, one could adjust the reading by adding a resistor from the gauge to ground (in parallel to the existing circuit). That should take the 90 ohms down to, for example, 80 ohms. Then, if one needed it...- Dejure

Lost keys
Another method that worked was using some paracord. I'd just brought my 78 home and had it running. Closed the door (it wasn't locked) and couldn't get it opened. Had just tried to get keys from the hardware the day before and the only thing they could give me was the ignition. Panic ensued...- Dejure

My new truck, a 78 C15 step side, has a swapped out 350 with HEI (Accel). I'm running the shorty plug equivalent. Anyway, since the engine has HEI, should I open up the gap a bit more than the oft recommended .35 gap?- Dejure
