‘86 heater problem
I have a 1986 Chevy K 10 with a 400 small block and what looks to be a new heater. There is a line running off of the carb into a part on the firewall appears to be the vacuum but when I drove it today the heater would no longer work. Locking hood latch
Another thing I thought about was making some type of system where when I flipped a switch and the hood was opened it would sound the horn or an alarm but I don’t. Know what sensor to use . what is needs to kill the fuel pump to a carb . I thought about cutting the powered wire to the disturber and then covering it with some type of wire cover so the truck would turn over but wouldn’t get spark.- everettfirstlove

Locking hood latch
I have a 1986 Chevy K 10 4 x 4 I have a hood latch and want something to buy so that I can lock the hood from being opened with a key so that I can disable something in the engine bay and then lock the hood leaning it less liable to be stolen- everettfirstlove
