How much harm would come of not calibrating the TPS? Would an AC Delco TPS specific to my truck be ready to go right out of the box, even though it likely would be made overseas? ~$73 for the aftermarket real-deal. -

Should I be adjusting the torque screw in the throttle body and adjusting the TPS for timing or should I disconnect the timing set bypass and start at 0? Although I have not done anything with the distributor. No messing with the pickup coil or dizzy yet. -

Sliding Window Restoration Tips Please?
I air sprayed the dust out of the channel, cleaned with alcohol wipes and q-tips, then sprayed some double u dee 40 silicone spray to lube the track and it's doing fine. I probably should hit it up again here soon.- JamesSam

Spoke with the seller and asked some questions tonight. He sent a pic of the AC controls. Not a digital interface. Dual zones with push levers. He says a pinhole leak and has it recharged and has forgotten to look for the dye to find the leak. For some reason I cannot upload the sellers photos...- JamesSam

Jealous!! My Uncle in law has a computer plug in do-hickey, OBD2(I think) and we are going to see if it and the dash tells us something more specific about my current sideline. -

Thanks @TotalyHucked Zach for all the info. I will be going to look at and drive the truck soon. The snow here is kind of holding everyone up just enough to get in the way. I hope I can go see it Saturday. I just got a positive response from the owner and plan on taking pics to share.- JamesSam
