I finished changing the fuel pump last night and jumped it off so I could see if I had it right. Everything went well. Took it for a spin down the drive and back and all seems well. 69 GMC C-15
This thing has a 307 v8 and a th400 transmission. I can't imagine why the 400 when it didn't even get a bumper you could tow from or a long box either. Small engine, no tow capability, needs the heavy trans clearly. Lol- TravisB

Fuel Pump Line Adapter?
I figured it out and found an adapter. This was my fault. The 69 has a 307 instead of a 350 which had a smaller line. This can probably be deleted since it wasn't for a square at all but not all small block pumps are the same is the only lesson here. Haha- TravisB

I have tried to get on rockauto.com a few times today and been unable to connect. Anyone else having issues? -

Yep and with this one all original that frees me up to make a hot rod out of the 78. This thing only has 73k miles on it and basically no rust. I will get some pics of the bottom side when I get it on the lift and fix the trans leak.- TravisB

Realizing now that this may have been a bad place to post this since the 69 isn't really a square. I don't want to cause confusion so this can be moved if needed. The 5.0 in 78 may have taken the same larger line as the 5.7. I have found a couple adapters for those sizes but they are all for...- TravisB

Fuel Pump Line Adapter?
Hey guys, I thought the fuel pumps were all the same on the small blocks. I needed to change the one on my 69 GMC so I grabbed one off the shelf that I had for my 78 and bolted it on. Then crawled under to put the line to the carb on and find that the line is way smaller than the hole it screws...- TravisB

I wonder if your drivers window switches and heater control are the same as what I have in my 03 Sierra. I need both and rear door lock actuators I think. I will be in Bloomington this weekend unless something goes wrong. @cjkirby55 -

Equal - Tire Balancing Beads, No weights to Lose
I doubt it would amount to much but wouldn't anything in there wear the tire on both sides now, reducing it's life? Yeah, it's got an easier life now since I picked up a Sierra with the D-Max. Last I heard from Dad he wanted to rob the 400 out to put in a Camaro but I am not holding my breath. He hasn't seen the Camaro in a year. o_O- TravisB
