    Blazer/Jimmy hardtop bolts

Sorry, forgot to reply. Yes, my '74 also uses 5/19-18 UNC threaded bolts. But with the full convertible, all are the shorter version.

    Blazer/Jimmy hardtop bolts

Mine are in my tool box at home. I'll check the size tonight. Once you know the size, you can probably get them from the McMaster-Carr site.

    Looking for wheel lock nuts

When I got my new tires, I had them replace my lock-nuts with standard Lug Nuts. Just paranoid that I'll lose the key. I'll give them to you if you pay shipping.

    Got Stickers?

ReefkoiC10, nice stickers. Reminded me of a Corvette that I saw on the Power Tour a few years ago. His sticker read, "Hybrid Vehicle, Burns Gasoline AND Rubber".

1973 K5 Blazer full removable top a little high but is it rare???

Yep. I've got some badly misaligned sheet metal to prove that, but I wouldn't trade it for a '76 or later with a better body. the full convertible just feels more fun to me.

    Belt jumped to other pulley

Most likely it is a misalignment issue. I used to have a recurring issue with that. When the PO installed the Headers the attachment point on the Exhaust Manifold for the Power Steering Pump no longer existed causing a misalignment between the pulleys. I bought an aftermarket Pump Mount that...

Who is or has run a 307?

Seems like this is two conversations in the same thread, so I'll comment on both: All governments suck, just leave me the hell alone. 307 is a decent little engine. I had a 307, 2Bbl, 3-speed manual '69 Camaro in the early 80's. It could out-run some 350 autos in heavier cars.

    Headlights and blinker problems. Again!!

Damn, I hate being right all the time. Glad that you got it fixed. Those stupid little issues can be very hard to diagnose.

    Headlights and blinker problems. Again!!

My Blazer had a similar issue when I bought it. I went through much (ground wires, turn signal switch, headlight switch...) trying to figure it out. I decided to replace all the bulbs one at a time. When I replaced the left, rear bulb everything started working fine. Upon inspection, one of...

    74 k10 clutch job

I remember a lot of shaking and pushing (like five or ten minutes), then it just slipped in to place.

    74 k10 clutch job

I'm not sure which method is easiest, but when I put the clutch in Blaze, I dropped the Transmission and Transfer Case together using a Transmission Jack. It wasn't too bad of a job.

    79 Trans am

Those rear rims in the "before pictures" are interesting. My friend in high school, back in the early eighties, had those on his '74 Z28. Also the aftermarket sun-roof is very nostalgic. Not many of those left.

Amp Power Steps on a K5 solved.

That's a lot of work. I just keep a 3-Step, step-ladder in the back of Blaze for my wife to get in and out. But it's pretty hilarious watching her get in without it (especially when she's wearing a skirt).

    Np203 part time conversion?

My NP203 which had a conversion kit in it long ago installed had a catastrophic failure last spring. I replaced it with a un-converted used NP203. I'm happy with the un-converted so far. I haven't noticed much difference in fuel mileage. If you convert yours, you will need lock-out hubs on...
