Show me your lowered truck. The lower the better!

Maybe try a 235/70 up front. It's only .30" narrower and it's 1.4" taller so it fills out the wheel well better and will give you better ground clearance. It will fit well on an 8" wheel. You can see the 235/70 on my truck, post#3 and #18

    LMC tailgate mat

I have their bed mat and am happy with it, Sounds like the tailgate mat is made of the same material, but you'll need to attach it of course. That means drilling and I didn't want to do that.

Looks like a 50 series front tire? You lose a lot of ground clearance with that choice.

1982 C30 looking for 4/6 drop. What did you actually get versus what was advertised?

My truck is a C10 but to give you an example. I installed a kit advertised as 4.5/6. The actual result at the rear was 7. The front was 5.5. I was perfectly happy with the rear. In front I ended up using a 5/8" aluminum spring spacer to put the drop where I wanted it. Turned out the aftermarket...

How would you make this truck less ugly??

Yes, Go with God. So often folks will use a word or phrase in Spanish and not get it right. Just trying to be helpful. A perfect example that I hear all the time "mano y mano" It's actually "mano a mano". Means "hand to hand" as in fighting, competing, etc. When a "y" is used rather than an "a"...

    Header swap begins.

Nice job with the wrap. I'm on the Xweb forum and there has been a lot of discussion about wraps holding moisture and causing premature rusting on headers. I had mine done in Cermachrome. Maybe keep an eye on that if you get much wet weather down the road. Here's the ride that header is on.
