    Hagerty lists garaging as, private garage/barn/pole building. Do you not have access to any of these? Respectfully, bit of a stretch to blame "the libs" for that. Get a garage, you can list your vehicle as garaged at a different address than your own too. :)

    That's a good thing. I have my 77 Scottsdale insured on a collector car policy. Unlimited miles, $25,000 agreed value. $319 a year.

    I made my own backspace measuring tool out of aluminum angle and flat stock. Go to YouTube and check out the different tools being used. That'll show you how to make your own for a few bucks.

    I totally get it. Different strokes and all that. That's why I have a stock height F250 super duty and a just slightly lowered F150. They all serve their purpose and are used in different capacities. I like lifted trucks too, but I have hard time pulling my old self up into them lol.

    Ha! I daily my 77. Hauled a full-size roller toolbox with top box last weekend. That Yellowstone c20 is cool as hell.

    Beautiful truck. 2 1/2" drop spindles and 2" shackles out back. It'll look great and you'll still have clearance and a good ride for those rough roads.

    Should be fine as far as the springs and A arms go.

    You may not have set one of the springs properly in its' pocket. Not uncommon for these old trucks to vary a bit in ride height from one side to the other. Did you take measurements before installing the spacers? Mine was off a touch, I checked the body mounts and sure enough the driver's side...

    I used a couple of wraps of duct tape to keep the spacer in place on the spring during installation. Use a pry bar to pull the spring out of the upper perch.

    I'm thinking it should at least fire on ether regardless of carb issues. Have you checked for spark at the plugs?
