    Cardboard utility box upgrade.

Honestly I've been kicking around a little "corner of the talegate" graphic... The "Smiley" line art with a phrase, "We're goin to town boys!" The significance of that is because the "Bonanza" badge was a marketing promotion from the TV show, Bonanza. And that line always got the Cartwright...

    Cardboard utility box upgrade.

23...Smiley...? "Only the Shadow knows..." And maybe the guy who did it....lol And ya gotta figure he's around 80+ years old or better. Because the Vietnam draft had been in full swing and just ended a couple years earlier. And most kids of draft age had no interest in working in assembly lines...

    Cardboard utility box upgrade.

I am by no means an "artistic" inclined guy. Mechanically inclined is my second nature. Engines talk to me and I just listen...lol

This breakdown you listed... Where can I find that so I can print it out. None of my manuals has this...that I recall.

That might be the "Bingo" I'm looking for. PM sent.

    Battery / charging isolator.

As my truck is a "Camper Special", I'm installing a second battery. Tray is in and a "so-so" battery is in as well. I would like to be able to charge both batteries, however I wish to isolate the Aux. battery output from the main battery. I was told to get a battery isolator. I've seen 3 post...

Well, I picks me self up a nutsert tool. What a slick little gizmo. Drill a hole, squeeze in a nut. Nice!

    Aux Battery Tray local

When I replaced the rotted out original battery box, I drilled some 3/8" holes for rosette welds.

Here's a bin of "Expired" flex plates. I would like to meet the ice salesman stationed in Alaska. He has to be the Einstein behind the idea of, steel parts with "expiration" dates. Imagine, a piece of steel, which was perfectly good yesterday; is not so, today and for no other reason than 24...

My wife is small and is pregnant

Well, if getting in is the issue then maybe a collapable step. Tie a rope to it and pull it into the cab. Getting out is just a slide off the seat. Doesn't require any hole drilling.

    Aux Battery Tray local

You are spot on. I just remembered that I had to weld the replacement for the original batt tray. Once I remembered that, it made sense. It's not pink pixie snot. It's hot Lincoln glue. Crisis everted...lol

    Aux Battery Tray local

...then I looked back in the catelog I ordered the parts from. Them knuckleheads don't even show any way for the batt tray to attach to the batt tray support, under it. How freaking lame! And being that the representation is just a line sketch, it's not like there's a clear view of how...

    Aux Battery Tray local

...then I wanted to see how things lined up between the aux tray support and the aux battery tray. Hmmm... None of the holes in the support line up with the holes in the tray, which is perched on top. And if I orient the tray with the 2 holes (which should of line up) with similiar 2 holes in...

    Aux Battery Tray local

Thanks, I jumped back on here to say, I found the spot. I was expecting holes to already be there, but they are not. There are "dimples" where holes need to be drilled. I discovwred all of this by taking the battery tray base/support and moving it around the driver's side inner fender until it...

    Aux Battery Tray local

For those who may know C10 camper special/Big10. Where does the Aux Battery tray go? Yea, I figured, under the hood, somewhere. But, where specifically? I have 4 different manuals and none of them show a location. Thanks in advance.

    Header farts

Yep, ya guessed it. A couple weeks ago, while tooling down the x-way, I heard the new header gasket give up. (Sound change) I don't think the headers have been on more than a month, with maybe 300 miles on them. Yea, I know...folks said there would be gasket issues or bolts constantly backing...

    Dome light went cross-eyed.

Holy smokes.!..cut the roof..? I have no fancy headliner in which to conceal a blunder...lol (I never blunder...I only readjust the goal) And different fuses?? That's interesting. Iwonder how that's done? Because the lights come on when the ground is made. Interrupt the ground- lights out. I...

I think Summit Racing has a few stores throughout the states. I just don't know if all or some have the Demo racks. However; this one in Tallmadge, Ohio 44278, does. There are a few decent hotels within in 5 or 6 miles of the store. If you come out, let me know. Maybe we can misbehave and get...
