    Rear Window Sliding Glass

I replaced the rear slider in the '79 I had with a CR Lawrence. The tinted version was not very dark.

Need 1 Charcoal door pocket for my '87

I'm not using pockets when I install my new door panels. I only have the passenger side. Here's the best picture I have for now as I'm about to leave for the day. The elastic is a little stretched, but otherwise in good shape. I'll get you a better picture tomorrow. Just PM you address.

10 inch lift and 37 inch tires on 88 suburban

I'll throw my hat in here. Based on what I see in the photo of the tan Suburban I'm guessing you have a 3/4 ton. An '88 should have stacked headlights unless the grill was updated. There's probably a 3-4" lift sitting on 35's. Those could be 16.5" or 16" wheels. The OEM engine would be a...

Any squarebody van guys? Got a odd question.

@Jason Deckard has done a lot of work to his Pathfinder van and has a build thread. He has not been on in a while though. Here's an Instagram for him. https://www.instagram.com/pathfinder4x4vans/?hl=en

    2wd to 4wd conversion

It would require fab at the rear end. The rear spring hangers, spring pads and shock mounts are different between the 3/4 ton and the 1 ton. Here's my K30.

Before you string me up ..

For the OP. Here's my last truck, '79 K15 with a 4" Tuff Country EZ Ride in the front, single shocks. I had a 4" blocks in the rear with OEM 6 leaf springs in the rear. It was the best riding Square body I've had. FYI tires were 33x12.50x16.5" (32.8"). Since the front wheel wells are...

    Gas going Everywhere question?

Did you install one of those ethanol proof plungers in the accelerator pump? Rubber products are junk these days. I replaced all my rubber fuel line 4 years ago and it looks like swiss cheese now.

Truck 10 bolt or Truck 12 bolt

I was just throwing it out there as a possible cheap option. I'm well aware of the low HP ratings. My GM rebuilt 454 in my K30 is a 1990 version with a whopping 230 HP...:banghead:

Truck 10 bolt or Truck 12 bolt

I'll throw another thought out there. The early 90's 1/2 ton 454SS pickups had a SF 14 bolt 5 lug set up.

Hunt for the Right Color / Paint Code Needed

Here's my old '87 GMC K20. Picture is from 1989 when I bought it. It was the non-metallic dark blue with the charcoal middle. Unfortunately, I don't know the color code of the grey. I do know on my '79 K15, photo 2, was #18 Charcoal Metallic (18, 8052, WA8052) which is close. No I wasn't...

New axles from 1500 to 3500?

The chassis cab axle is narrower and I don't think it will even fit between your springs. Here's a shot of the rear end on my SRW K30. You can see the shocks are opposite of yours and on the inside of the frame, but if you didn't know, C/K 30 trucks have the springs inboard of 1/2 and 3/4 tons...

New axles from 1500 to 3500?

I've done two 1/2 ton to 3/4 axle swaps. I've done a 14 bolt FF in one and a SF in the other. I agree the CUCV will give you 4.56's with a Dana 60 front with a 14 bolt FF in the rear with a Detroit locker, but the rear will need the spring perches and shock mounts modified. Also one of the...

    Insurance

I have State Farm. They won't insure mine for stated value until I paint it. I currently have full coverage insurance zero comp and $250 collision. Hargerty is about $200 more a year. I have plenty of receipts so I'm sure with some fighting, I could much of what I currently have into it.

    Headliner/interior trim

Install the rear corners first, then the front pillars. Once those are positioned it's easier to install the metal strips. I did it on my '79' I don't recall the screw sizes though. I may have just bought the screw kit from LMC.
