Get ready for the worst photos of a fuel tank you've ever seen. My seat doesn't tilt forward so this is as much room as I have without pulling the seat. You might have to wait until upholstery time lol. We're in luck! I found some of when I had the tank out years ago.

I've not been in the tank yet. new one in the carb though. The tank is on the to do list because my gauge isn't working from a sank float or bad ground maybe.

    2015 Camaro V6 2LS

That new ones base model will be as fast as the current z06. I can't see this new one being anything but awesome. They've made mid engine vettes in the past but they never hit production. Its just good sense of you can go as fast with 200 less hp by putting the engine behind you stick it in the...

By hand today. Took my whole lunch break and then some lol. I didn't think it would take this long. I still have all the trim, the hub caps, around the windows, tail lights, and the back bumper to do. Then a wax job. It still has an off idle miss. Not sure if it's the carb or maybe electrical...

Polished the grill and front bumper today on lunch. What do you think about that? Before: https://www.gmsquarebody.com/data/attachments/109/109768-6ce6838f842288921902ddad8fb0647e.jpg After: Left side is polished and the right is not: Around the headlights:

Good news gang! I put the carb back together, no left over bits to throw away outside of some extra gaskets and junk from the kit! Even better news, the carb is back on the truck, it started, and with a bit of monkeying with the idle air screws and the idle speed it's holding almost 17-19in-hg...

Well I went ahead and pulled the carb off. Tore it down and have half of it soaking in parts cleaner and will have to work the other half in after. Got one of those gallon of gunk parts cleaner with the little basket inside. We'll see how that works. It has a pair of 52s inside if anyone was...

Those have been on the to do list for a while. I've been busy working on the 78 and neglected this one. I'll hopefully get around tho those soon. I'll keep this in mind when I do. Thanks!

I have washed this thing, clay barred it, wet sanded it with 2500, and now made one pass over it with a DA buffer + orange medium cutting pad + V34 from the chemical guys. It looks better than it ever has while I have owned it. If I follow their path, I am supposed to buff over that with V36 and...

    Harbor Freight Tool/Product Review

Thought of more to add to the above. https://www.harborfreight.com/2-piece-1500-lb-capacity-vehicle-dollies-67338.html I have 2 pair of those. I couldn't push a c10 on them by myself. They didn't collapse but they don't roll that great. After we pulled the dog house and engine/trans and bed I...

    Harbor Freight Tool/Product Review

Since I found this thread, I thought I could add some stuff here. I shop in this place all the time and have found some duds. So I will share a bit of that to save you all the trouble. I bought their stand alone blast cabinet and the light in it sucks. Added more light and that has died too...

    Harbor Freight Tool/Product Review

I bought an auto darkening helmet and can't use it anymore. I don't recall where I got it but it was a "metal man" brand one with flames on the hood. So this model and maybe others use battery power to darken. I didn't know this but the face of it has a little solar panel like a calculator has...

    2006 Jeep Rubicon Vibration

From your test results my opinion is you are getting the early stages of death wobble. That stuff doesn't usually come on over night and you have some connection allowing play. In my old Jeep I could hide that with new tires but you are really just hiding it and it quickly returns as the tires...

This is the rebuild kit for the carb. Looks like a bunch of universal stuff in here. Loose clips and check balls too. This could be a real treat :help: I did wash the whole truck last night and ran a clay bar over the top since the white has held up much better than the teal or turquoise...

I had been banking on my cousin giving this old truck a buff job and shining it up for the car show at the end of the month. I found out Saturday that wasn't going to happen. I have 0 experience but with as bad as the paint was I have wet sanded it with 2500 grit and got most the color even. I...

    Somernites Cruise

They are giving away the c10 this month at the local cruise. I am going unless some emergency comes up and taking the 69. It's truck month so I shouldn't be alone. If anyone else can make it you should head over or buy your raffle tickets for the c10 now because they're giving it away on the...

    Camshaft Install/Rocker Adjustment How-To?

This is what I do with a hydraulic lifter but if you have solid lifters don't do this. Your valves will stay open lol. I am guessing that you have hydraulic lifters but just in case.
