New to Square body, what's this?

I'm curious about how it's held onto the end of the axle shaft... a pretty violent spot... Little tumbler, could probably polish rocks in there.

R4 to Sanden whith stock ac lines(for serpantine)

You'll need the ac system running, fully charged and a decently warm day. Connect your gauges and watch low side press. Raise engine rpm to 2500 or so and watch As the low side(really suction side)drop, if low pressure falls below the set cut off point, the switch will open the circuit and turn...

R4 to Sanden whith stock ac lines(for serpantine)

If yours is adjustable then there will be a small flathead screw between the two electrical contacts. It's on the receiver/dryer

    Body control module type question

I think you're gonna have to get crafty with an "OEM" body control module from a suitable doner vehicle and do some reverse engineering. I don't think you'll find a standalone bcm, probably also need a pcm. Just my thoughts. Sounds like a really fun project though

Opinions Needed on Square Body Gauges LS Swap

I went with the dakota digital and couldn't be happier with them overall. Plus they integrate well with the LS engine ecm by reading OBD2 data. Displays stuff like gear selection, trans temp, inlet air temp,4x4&low range indicators. Not to mention i can set warning alerts for volts, temp and oil...

    Possible bad new fuel pump?

Sounds like you're testing correctly and the pump is toast. Good thing you checked, but it Doesn't surprise me at all. The market is so full of delfi and walbro clones that makes it hard to trust any suppliers of these...

Question about exhaust 5.3 LS Swap

I don't know of a perfect salvage yard solution, maby someone else will chime in on that, but i wound up just welding together this Y-pipe. I used a 2 into1 Collector and some pipe sections from summit racing. Didn't take very long and i made it fit perfectly.

    Shock recommendation

I picked up KYB mono max shocks from summit racing for a good price and have been running them on my v2500 burb for over a year now. I like them alot. I drive mostly on the street and occasionally on the outer beach sand trails around my area. Does well on both

    LS swap lost oil pressure

Just get both before you start so your covered. There is a yearly breakdown of what engine got witch o ring but just get both. The O ring just gets old and breaks down regardless of miles. Cheap and easy process worth doing in my opinion. It can only help. Cleaning the crud from the oil pan is...

    LS swap lost oil pressure

Not really, it's pretty straight forward, nothing you can screw up. Remove oil pan perimeter bolts, drop the oil pan, unbolt pickup tube, replace the o ring seal, clean the crud from the bottom of the oil pan and reassemble. The oil pan gasket is reusable but i would pickup a new one anyway just...
