    .0005" away from finish size of bore on the stroker 496" ... Had to order 400 grit stones to do the .0005" ... Been slightly busy on my 781 heads getting the work done installing the oversize valves .. Since they was so huge I had to buy more tooling .. Close to having one done, still...

    I'm running a NP 203 in my 75 GMC K-15 .. Was thinking about doing a twin stick for awhile ... But since I had to fabricate a mount cause of doing away with the factory mount, thought was to keep the Oem TC shifter ... Reason for the homemade mount was the trans swap from a THM 400 to a 4L85E...

    Guides came in and put in .. Got a world of meat to come out of the valve bowls to fit the oversize valves .. These heads will be going on the stroker 454 (496CI) Mark IV motor build .. This is not the 454" motor that's on the motor stand .. The motor that is on the stand is a 2-bolt...

    Oh no !! Just might be changing horses in the middle of the creek ... I found a 2003 L-18 Gen VII 496 ci 8.1L big block .. This is going to require a lot of thought .. Nothing from the old school Mark IV's (1965 to 1990) interchanges !

    The front panel of the inner fenders and all the sheet metal around the radiator has been coated with black epoxy primer ... Some more work and another coat of primer and they will be ready to top coat with epoxy Hot-Rod black ... Step by step it's coming together !
