    Welcome from Houston, very nice truck. Your daughter sounds like me at that age....in my case it was a first generation Monte Carlo. Never could get it to run right, but that thankfully didn't sour me on Chevys or wrenching.

    Same here, also do that with the 4L60E in my current Burb. The one ton has a 4L80E so no worries there; truck only knows we're towing something when we slow down and stop. I'm using U Haul rental trailers with single axle, no brakes on those.

    There are several vintage yellow 83 Silverado Hot Wheels out there....but it has to have the red Modern Classics card and the Spectraflame paint, to be one of these. And I've heard there are reproductions out there.... Hot Wheels Wiki says the yellow one was only a prototype...if that's true...
