    Ford Trash Talk Thread lol

Those i6s are beasts. Create enough torque for a ford and can be beat down and keep on running. The fuel delivery system is something to hate... But that engine deserves awards.

    Search for K10 rotor

That’s not a GM axle. ( I don’t think) It’s a conversion using GM rotors. That’s a weld in kit for his axle choice. But we are indeed missing a lot of information.

Modern rearview mirror in a square

I always found them simple to find. if the mirror has the comp temp. The sensor was always easy to find behind the grille.

Modern rearview mirror in a square

It’s the ones from the 96+ trucks, burbs, hoes. look for the one in the 2000s. They have the compass and temp at the same time. also need the little sensor behind the grille to get a temp read. THIS is an old pic of mine. But it’s what I have in my phone.

    vent windows / divider strip-

When you take them apart for the seal replacement. Take your time sand em down. Clean. Little more sanding. Little more cleaning. Paint according to paint instructions. Take your time. Nothing makes them look worse than rushing it.

    Kick panel removal

It is probably loose if you got them all. For me. It’s hard getting it UP and OUT of the hole for the vent flapper. It seemed like SOMETHING was holding me up but it was just the way it drops in the open ring

6 port fuel tank switch valve....How to check?

I believe port closest to mounting nuts is the ground. Second and third pin alternate tanks. Provide power to each one individually to cycle tanks. Blow in the “fuel discharge” to see what fuel port it blows out of. Cycle blow again make sure it’s switched. Fourth is one tank sender. Fifth is...

Have no idea what these tubes are!

To elaborate ( might not be needed) The hoses connected to the green valve with the nails suck in em. Pull the nails out, remove the hoses. They create NO vacuum so there’s no need for caps/ hoses. Also some of your hoses look well past expiration date. Soft collapsing hoses or weather checked...

    DBW to DBC

I used a cable from a c1500 I believe it was an 01. Had to modify the fire wall hole a bit ( Widen it). And use one of those cable stops in the pedal. Also used my stock 73 c10s pedal. I actually used two stops for good measure.

Aftermarket Ring and Pinion/Diff. Who do you buy and why

Well articulated point my friend. You’ll find that most people here, myself included, aren’t easily offended. Strong lean with beliefs or not. we are all adults and banter back and forth no problem. I do prefer to find good ole US made parts and materials. But too many people are willing to...

Aftermarket Ring and Pinion/Diff. Who do you buy and why

Certain companies say “in partnership” because it depends on the “grade” or line you buy. If you opt for the cheaper gears you get chineesium. But let’s be real. China has been buying our metal scraps for years. So odds are it was once American steel. I have used Richmond gears before. Maybe the...

    Floor Pan Insulation

This is what my amazon account says about that stuff. Bought it twice. Did my firewall all the way up... did the entire floor and back wall. Well I costed the entire inside lol. It’s supposed to be for vibration ... but it works fine for thermal too. I want it colder inside during the summer and...

At wits end over my 1984 C10

I was considering most common “tool” used. Honestly the quarter is new to me. I can think of a few vehicles where I’d never get my hand close enough for a quarter. ( I’m often called banana hands) Also If I’m doing this with a hot engine ... a quarter could suck.

At wits end over my 1984 C10

With the remote switch I’m sure he’d be fine. It just seems like the handy Phillips screwdriver is always readily available. And that’s what’s most commonly used. A good point to add sir.
