    I have used Wally ones but I feel like they corrode faster than most. But if price was a factor I wouldn’t hesitate to install one. Or even the Home Depot ones... whoever they’re using this year. Also hear good things about Costco batteries.

    No man... I have been a fan of Optimas in the past. But they suck now a days. I have warrantied my current one three times in the last 4 years. I have a Kragen agm in my 73 and it’s holding up better than my gmt400s optima for sure.

    I dunno. Bushings were 4.99 each and the lower mooch ball was 34 or something. I rebuilt my uppers and lowers including balls and tie rods. Also did the sway bar bushings. I think I was in for it around 150. Id choose to build them. To get the nut off (if spinning)I usually wedge something...

    It’s possible. what 5 speed? Probably only thing that will survive that’s not an expensive TKO or similar is the NV4500. but there is a TON of info on these builds.

    How did I miss this thread? I had a 4 link kit from JD fab. It was like 150 at the time. I think it’s up to 500 or so now. Just need to buy the coil overs after that. I have less than 500 bucks into my kit as I found the coilovers on CL. Only thing I can say for sure is don’t run the bottom...

    Super easy. Change the engine to an LS and slap a 4l60e behind it and WHAM! electric speedo works.

    This circled part. The metal bracket would be covered by the gasket of it was a single piece. My trucks a single. But I’m a few hundred miles from my truck RN.

    It’s not hard to tell. the gasket will go over the window pivot on the single piece designs. On the two piece you can see the pivot bracket as it attaches to the frame.
