Wiring diagram on this site will help solve your issue. Clean all your connections, and grounds, and replace deteriorating wire and connectors. Better information and pics will help others help you.- mxer147

Inset door on blazer
Were the gaps good before you removed the door? Are the hinges tight? Does the striker have the plastic bushing? There’s a door adjusting thread on this site which explains the process very well. -

Drilled screw holes for head liner trim and then installed…..a few less parts hanging out in the house. -
USA1 Vinyl Dye - Actually Dye or Paint?
I had success dying carpet using RIT dye, put the carpet in a large plastic storage tub with an immersion heater to 180F. It sat in there for about 5 days cycling heat when I was home. Try running it at night parked with your lights off to see if it’s arcing around the cap and plug wires. -

Priceless tool, I had a used one gifted to me several years ago and I use it all the time, saves on the body significantly. I can’t imagine life without it. -

Stick with your plan, maybe a different cam based on your findings. Run it, if you hate it, formulate a plan B for a future date. You might be surprised it performs better than you expected. I try to remind myself not to overthink everything. -
Missing a bit of side molding on my 85 scottsdale...
Remove the piece on the tailgate to use on the bedside, then replace the tailgate trim with after market which you can repaint with black and chrome to look like oem. Should be good enough for a classic old rust bucket. -

Installed rear shocks, left side easy, right side needed grinding on lower bushing tube insert to get it to slide into the lower mount. Sometimes the easiest things aren’t always easy. Prolly do some “easy” interior and wiring tasks next while I focus on some landscaping work. Yea, PO left stock... -

It will probably work but you may have also have to change the headlight trim pieces. -

Test fitted the left fender with the old skool emblem taped on. Gonna need a few shims for door alignment but pretty good. The hood gonna need some adjustments as well. It’s still a 20 footer, paint actually matches pretty well for panel spraying, but the orange peel is a little off and I have... -

The shock mounts are about the same mounting height so I think it’s more related to the inner fender mounting and/or the inner fenders are slightly different for each side. -

Installed the front shocks and put a few bolts on the wheel wells. The driver side shock doesn’t fit nicely under the wheel well like the passenger side does. Is that correct or do I need to make some adjustments when I get the fenders installed? -
