    Cowl Piece

That is an access door to unbolt the wiper motor from the wiper arm linkage to replace the motor. I believe they originally came with rubber grommets that covered the whole. I couldn’t find one and ended up making a new door out out a piece of sheet metal and sealed it with silicone Do...

A new comer with a problem

Yes, they will ship full panels via FedEx. The largest thing I bought from them was a full radiator support.

1982 C30, idea for active triple tanks, not just a transfer tank.

This should. Curious to know it turns out!

    dumfounded

You absolutely need to take some strain off the factory wiring. In my opinion, it was under engineered from the factory. You HAVE TO use some relays. Amazon will sell you 10 relays for like $30. Fans, fuel, water pumps should all be wired direct to a battery (with a fuse) activated by a relay...

    High Pressure Fuel pump install

I think I maybe going to this set up sooner than I thought. I don’t think the inline can pull the fuel. Question, when you wired the in tank pumps, how did you switch power between the two pumps? Did you use a relay and if so, what did you use to trigger it?? I will need to power them from...

A new comer with a problem

The LMC panels are good replacements. On my 85 short bed, I did the floor, kick panel, rockers, cab corners and a bed side patch behind the tires. No issues, they also have some updated parts for behind the tires to mitigate mud and rot that worked well. They will drop ship a whole bed side to you.

    More Washer Pump Questions

Your problem is probably the multi pin relay that the switch connects to at the bottom of the steering column. Find the pink wire going to towards the fire wall. This is the ground wire. Tap it with a press on connector and run a second wire out of the in-line tap. Touch your new wire to any...

K10 fuel line for Holley sniper truck has dual tanks but I’m buying the hokey tank with the efi fuel pump it I’m needing a line kit for just one tank

Is anyone going to comment on probably the cleanest frame I have ever seen on a Square? If that isn’t a replacement frame, then my hat is off to you. The original lines were run on the inside of the passenger side rake rail. Nothing can get to them in there, especially not a wrench

    washer pump not working

Here is your module (below), which is likely your problem. The actual wiper switch is the first thing put into the steering column and the last thing to come out. You have to disassemble the entire column. If you end up trying it, I’d recommend you remove the column from the truck and do it...

    Sagging doors: where to start?

Open the door, grab the bottom corner and see if it moves up and down. Keep an eye on the hinge pins when you shake it. That is where you want to start. You can replace the hinges one at a time. Open the door, put a jack stand under the corner and take the hinge all the way off the truck one...

    One more electrical plug identification

Green is definetly Water temp. The three prong goes to the oil pressure sending unit behind the distributor, but the sending unit only has two prongs from it, the two vertices. The sensor does not use horizontal female on the plug.

    High Pressure Fuel pump install

Also found this little gem on LMC’s website. I haven’t seen something like this for sale anywhere else. https://www.lmctruck.com/fuel-system/fuel-pumps/fuel-pump-control-module-15 Still no motor in the truck yet, but I will be sure to follow up when I get this done and running!

    High Pressure Fuel pump install

Man, this looks like the way to go. I am already committed to this inline set up, but I might mortgage the house and put two of these in the shelf!

Steering Column needs to be rebuild

If you have enough skill to get the whole column out today the truck I think you can do the build yourself. All you need is a big table and a lot of patience. I tried to do mine while it was still in the truck and regretted it immediately. If it has all the bells and whistles (tilt, intermittent...

    High Pressure Fuel pump install

Finally updating the powertrain on my 85 K10 Silverado short bed with a BluePrint turn-key, fuel injected 350. I am going to have to upgrade to a high pressure fuel pump obviously but I wanted to check with the group first before I install this. My issue is that I have dual fuel tanks so I...

    Please Help I'm Stuck!

Check under dash and see look for this connector. It will be somewhere around the base of the column, but you won’t need to pull much apart. I don’t think your AC duct will be in the way either. It is a flat connector with two pins on each side. There is no other connector on the truck that fits...

    Intermittent steering wander?

I had the same/similar issue. Blazer with a 6” lift. Guy before didn’t have it set up, and a 6” lift is way too high for such a short truck (my opinion). It kept loosening bolts on the steering box, and I expected eventually it was just going to crack the frame. I eventually figured out the...

Best header back exhaust package for a 1985 K10 short bed

Yeah, I hear ya. Definetly would be the easy button. I figure, if I am doing all the work of swapping a TBI motor into it by myself, I might as well keep the whole job DIY for bragging rights. That truck hasn’t been to a mechanic in over 25 years. Except for the paint, there is only one guy who...

Best header back exhaust package for a 1985 K10 short bed

Evening fellas! I am lining up my winter project and planning to swap the Jasper motor out of my shortbed for a Blue Print 340hp TBI turnkey. I am looking for recommendations on a header-back exhaust system with side vent pipes. Plenty of stuff out there for long beds, just not seeing what I...

Wanting Led upgrade throughout while keeping stock look... Recommendations?

I switched all four corners of my 85 over. I used the LMC after market fender lights, they work better than other options. One thing that you have to know since you are replacing your marker and brake/blinker bulb, know that all bulbs are not made the same. The problem that I found is that most...

    wiring issues

Trying to think where a fuel gauge would cross with the headlights, and the only thing that comes to mind is the printed circuit behind the gauge cluster. Start there, any thing shorting should be fairly obvious. The previous owner may have added that rat nest to bypass an existing problem...

Help finding a short, Who's good at ELECTRICAL???

I know you said this truck is stock and unhacked, but what’s the story of this box?? Is that a snow plow relay or something? Looks like maybe something after market. Also, I assume this is a single battery set up, but if it’s not, are both batteries good?? One bad battery will ruin both of...

    Front bumper opinion on position

That would drive me nuts. I think one of the bumper supports are out of wack. If you are going to go through the trouble of taking the bumper off to open up the holes on the bumper supports, just put a set of new bumper mounts on it in stead. I bet when you take the bumper off, the mounts are...

    Pass power window

This kits come with an up and a down relay for each side (4). I wired that kit also. Mine came with a bad relay and the window was stuck up. If it is up and won’t go down, or vice versa, swap the relays and see if it works. They plug in and out of the harness so they are easy to replace.
