    Lol First, what year? On my 85 with hydraulic clutch, I cut the end off and tack welded a 3/8 female rod end. A 7/16, grade 8 bolt in the pedal replaced the worn "stub". No more slop or worn out plastic bushings. Will outlive the truck.

    Put a CV on the rear shaft and be done with it. I put one on my K20 LB with a 2 inch lift. Overkill? Maybe, but it cuts the u joint angles in half and will outlast the truck. Why ya think the factory put them on the front?
