    Since the caps only use 3 bolts, rotate them and drill/tap new holes in the rims. Done. :33:

    I have found there is a difference between the 73-80 and 81-up front brackets. Don't know why they changed.

    It sounds like an electrical problem to me, check your grounds and fusible link at the starter.

    1953 Chevrolet and newer 235 & 261 had full pressure, pre '53 194, 207, 216, 224, 235 were babbit.
