I ended up getting the wheels. CWO honored my original order price of $633 shipped. Price has gone up significantly $158 -> $225 per wheel. Due to being made in China. Wheels fit bolt pattern and offset 0 is similar to the stock wheel where you can barely get your finger between the drag link...- TDoc

It’s definitely the two lower bolts. They don’t have o-rings just a thin metal washer. Looks like I’d have to pull the trans to get the bolts all the way out. Maybe I’ll try some RTV around the outside bolt washer? It’s an odd leak. Sometimes no leak but guaranteed to leak when sitting for a few...- TDoc

Kept thinking I had a leak at the front of the pan. I took off the inspection cover, and the two lower bolts of the pump housing are slowly leaking transmission fluid. I would think it would fit since Blazer and suburban use the same center console. This console/jump seat is 13.5 inches wide and 23 inches deep. -

I used my orbital buffer with wool pad on the gel coat after the 205 polish. It certainly helped give it some gloss. After Before Happy I don’t have to see the old white spray paint streak off down the side of the truck every time it rained or morning dew. -

Paint is definitely soft. You can see where the oven cleaner and white run off stained the truck paint very lightly in spots but can only notice it up close. Warning if anyone else does this. I wouldn’t do it on a dark color. Still looks great from a feet away and it’s got plenty of flaws... -

It’s better than the flaking / peeling white that was on it but is blotchy in spots. I bet it is gel coat. I’ll probably just run it like this for awhile. If I get it repainted I’m afraid of it looking too new of paint to match the original metal paint that 40 years old on the rest of the truck... -

Mine was originally body color according to the spec sheet in the glove box. Got almost all of the white off. Now need to try and brighten up the original tan. I’ll try some compound a polish if the roughness doesn’t tear up my buffer or wool pad. -

Update: oven cleaner is doing the job. Spray on, let set 10mins It will turn yellow after 5mins. Don’t leave on longer than 10min. Keep factory metal paint below cap wet and scrub off oven cleaner and white spray paint with blue scotch bright. Will need to compound factory metal paint to shine... -

What is the purpose of this ^. It’s just siliconed to the air cleaner. I removed it and no drive ability issues. Cold starts just fine. Pretty sure this thing was gone when TBI came out in ‘87 on trucks. The heat tube that comes off the manifold is gone and the vacuum operated door disconnected...- TDoc

I may cut off the plastic plate behind the grill so I get sort of a ram air effect. Instead of it pulling air from the sides behind the grill. I already added dual exhaust to my ‘86 K5 with LE9 305. Stock numbers are 160hp @ 4k rpm and 235tq @ 2k rpm. I removed the very restrictive metal mesh flame arrestor?
