    2 inch Body Lift

Hold my beer while I post these pics. This is far dumber than a body lift. The cat is parting this puppy out. I spied these works of art while they were unbolting the roll bar.

    2 inch Body Lift

Yeah but not even close to the same. I’ve messed with these in the past. https://www.offroaddesign.com/exterior-armor/body-lift-kits.html

Suspension or bust. If you absolutely have to body lift ORD makes some nice pucks.

15x7 6 lug dog dish wheels with covers

Someone here could probably use these and I’d rather not mess with marketplace. These came off my current red truck project and include 4 wheels with tires that just hold air and all 4 hubcaps. I’m near Fort Worth and the price is free99 if you can use them. Not interested in shipping or...

What is the advantage of Hydro boost brakes over hydraulic?

My K30 has hydro brakes and I need to replace all of the hoses. Looking at it I have the stuff to make it a vacuum setup. What are the advantages to the Hydroboost setup short of if your power steering pump cashes out you lose brakes and power

    Bedside repair- wheel well

I promise you. Having the body shop deal with this while it’s there for paint is not the cheaper option.

    Bedside repair- wheel well

Just need to go into my tool room and get one off the shelf. Just not sure getting it pulled correctly is in my wheelhouse. My neighbor does legit body work as he is retired and just goofs around working on random stuff at his house. Going to pull it and drop it with him.

    Bedside repair- wheel well

My neighbor showed up this AM to get a gander at it. He’s frugal and would hate to see me spend $600 on another bedside so we’re going to take it off and see if he can fix it. Worst case- he can’t and I still end up buying another bedside.

    Bedside repair- wheel well

On my K30 project one of the bed panels has an odd dent at the wheel well. Let’s say I’m an entry level gamer as far as skills. Do you think I can cut this section out of a similar year bedside and get a good finished product after welding and glass? Other option is new AMD bedside.

    USA1 Industries

lol the last interior set I ordered from them took almost a year to the day. I had moved on from the project and completely forgot I ordered. I still have the door panel set and carpet waiting on a burgundy/maroon project to come through.

Can you identify the ticking noise? 5.7l TBI

I considered that but would g the metal from the lobe be running around causing havoc?

Can you identify the ticking noise? 5.7l TBI

I’m thinking flat lobe. We pulled the rods all out looking for a bent one and didn’t find any. It’s a decent motor so probably worth pulling and having fixed. Maybe even run across one in the summit outlet. Either way it’s back to the fenceline and getting back on the crew cab for now.

Can you identify the ticking noise? 5.7l TBI

After finally getting this thing started it seems to have an odd ticking noise. It almost seems like it’s at the flex plate/torque converter but also maybe the passenger rear of the motor. Thoughts? Took the valve covers off and it didn’t seem to get any louder, rockers seem ok. Put a...

How do I bypass the factory radio completely so I can just listen through Bluetooth?

I had a shop install a receiver tied to the stereo system under the seat of a project a few back. It was essentially like a boat setup. You hooked to it with your phone and the volume and everything was on your phone.

    Hide engine wiring

You for sure can. A local guy here had all of his wiring going forward of the cab come out in the fenders and then wrapped around the front. for the back of the motor stuff he went out right behind the motor. There is plenty of places to hide wiring if your willing to do the work. Inside the...

LMC Truck Interior Parts - Color Matching Question

This one might help, Things were close but not an exact match. The carpet/door carpet matched and the paint I picked up was real close to that but it wasnt cheap. https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/79-c10-shortbed-traded-to-the-next-project.47007/

Check out these old seats in a 77/78 Burb

Went over to get the doors off this old burb and spied these seats. I thought they were kinda cool. The interior looks like it was updated in the mid/late 80’s. The wiring work for the seats/lights/overhead console was all top notch! The wiring was soldered, heat shrunk, then a rubber hose...

    Digital dashes

I have the stuff in my cart at southwest just to freshen up my factory gauges and it’s close to $400. That’s just the back plastic, front plastic, and some other odd bits like lights and the ribbon. Puts it in range of a DD set at another $400ish for the cheap set.

    Vintage Air Firewall Installation

The holes in the cab aren't that exact. The holes in the plate is what your rubber grommet locks into. The AC/non AC part of the kit has nothing to do with the firewall. If you aren't using the plate then match the plate hole diameters and rock on. I screw the plate on then use a hole saw...

    Headliner redo Crew Cab

What is everyone who has messed with a Crew cab done for a headliner? I have the original cardboard piece that I was looking at recovering. I see there are some conversion styles out there that use the car style headliner but nothing with a board. Can the cardboard piece be recovered with...
