Thanks will do it's still pretty far north but it's been a dry winter and fires are probably gonna be bad this year my friend is about 30min south of the current fires in Southern California -

Had to switch gears from the bull bar to getting the gooseneck hitch on the 83 some pretty bad wildfires near me and my buddy asked if I could get the hitch installed in case they need me to get them out of the dangerzone since he no longer has a truck starting by pulling the deck boards and... -

These are the ones I used for the design all slightly different but the black bull bar is close to the look I'm going for -

Progress on the bull bar I used 1/4"×6" plate 2ft Long each some scrap angle iron for the mounts and some 2 1/2" scrap pipe and some tabs for the lights getting dark so will continue on tomorrow -

Take the air cleaner off and look at the spray pattern when running, also kinda sounds like something a bad MAP sensor or TPS/IACV could do don't forget the basics timing,cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and coil, check the vacuum advance diaphragm and springs in the dizzy don't leave out the ECU give... -

Finished the brakes(one of the new calipers was damaged where the crush washer seals) and replaced the leaking coolant hoses got belts and fan clutch should be here tomorrow along with some fuel hose I still have to drop the tank I will get to it tomorrow also slapped a air cleaner on it -

Finally got the bed cleaned out pretty good shape unfortunately no signs of the air cleaner so I'm going to grab one of those cheapo Edelbrock ones(I might have a OEM one I can rob off one of my other non runners) still no brakes but have everything but wheel cylinders should have it driving by... -

Brother who ever touched that thing in the past... my guess is plugs fouled from secondarys being open like that it's dumping fuel it needs to set it up right or your gonna have problems I think it's quadrajetparts or quadrajetpower should have parts you need- Ajax19

Thanks It's my semi permanent solution lol actually thinking about making some stake sides for the bed to match the vibe I'm limited on my wood working tools(and skills) are basically a drill, circular and jig saws I'd like to get a router and a finish nailer then I can try and make something... -

Yeah I find myself using the step bits more and more, similar exhaust but mine are behind the rear wheels it's funny because they sound good but I can hardly hear it unlike my 83 is dumped just before the axle is Loud ASF especially in the cab lol Pretty good can't complain for 25$ for the set... -
