    I live about 25 miles south of Houston and didn't chime in becauseofthat. I have a guy that's swapped 1 motor and 2 transmissions for me without a problem. If you need him to do this fir you just let me know and I'll get you his information. Sorry to hear of your experience. Good luck!

    I'll ask him tomorrow. It made a huge difference for mine. It was really stiff before and now it's perfect. I'm guessing he'd need the measurements from firewall to cable bracket. All the new ones I've bought for it were 24" and was way too long.

    The 2 doors for the 82. No rust, electric windows and locks everything is there. Even door panels are not too bad. If they were blue it'd be perfect. Lol

    The 84 is home with new starter, led lights working properly and new smooth a$$ throttle cable. It got rid of that loop that made it hard to press the gas pedal. If anyone has that same issue I can get one like this from him if any of y'all want one. He custom made it to fit right.

    Truck stopped idling after fuel ran out.

    I have an edelbrock on my 84 that wouldn't idle either. Found out it was getting too much air. So screwed the air/fuel mixture screws on the front of the carb all the way in.
