Installed led strip lights under the bed rails. Put a piece of hall inch rubber hose to run wires thru. Turned out pretty good. The only one visible is the one on the front of the bed. Put some heat shrink wrap on the section that ran through the tie-down holes so light wouldn't shine out of the...- 82sbshortbed

What new tools have you got lately?
Yesir I made the same mistake buying those. I just needed to chase the threads in the hedder bolt holes to clean them up. Nope! Won't even do that. Trash! Almost broke one about two turns in. Lol- 82sbshortbed

I don't like the edelbrock carbs. Quadrajet is what gm put on these and that's be best one for the trucks imo. I replaced it with the Quadrajet and it runs great.- 82sbshortbed

Buffed out the passenger side. Came out pretty good. Still got the back of the cab and roof to do. Then coat it with some wax with the da and should be good for now. Went through 3 wool pads too- 82sbshortbed

low oil pressure
My 84 305 does the same thing. 10w30 mobile1 and mechanical gauge. Just changed the oil and filter. Once warm it's down to 5 to 10 range at idle but up to 20 to 30 on the highway. I figured as long as it goes up with rpm increase I'm good. Same oil in the 454 but it seems to stay around 20 to...- 82sbshortbed

Fender and door. I used to do a couple vehicles in a day at the shop in my 20s. Now in my 50s gotta take a few breaks. Lol Also got the led strip light under the front bumper glued on now. Started to rain before I could get done. So gotta finish tomorrow if weather holds up.- 82sbshortbed
