really need the experts on this, runs beautiful won't move

correct!! if the bearing is to short it may not reach the pressure plate surface, also your adjustment rods for the clutch may need to be adjusted, but if ya got the wrong bearing ya gotta replace it

Nothing fancy, got it for a good price and everything works!! Only 38,000 miles on it!! hopefully we never have to use it but we got it just in case...

Has anybody removed ethanol from their gas ?

I use Nuetra, from Schaeffer oils in my gas. I have been using it for years. great product, Have had a rototiller sit for a couple years and would fire right up. It seems to cut down on the bad effects of ethanol fuel.

    transmission oil change

thanks all for the response. I don't know why they never put a drain in the transmission pans, I will add one before this goes back together. I have heard of people drilling a hole in the pan to drain ,then welding in a drain plug. don't think I want to chance drilling into something inside...

Has anyone superglued the copper contacts down on the circuit board ?

My My 87 had 2 wires in the radio harness that were part of the radio lights, a brown and a gray wire, I assume that one was the light and the other was the dimmer for the radio.
